Since childhood, Pheona and Jojo have been dreaming as a little girl about creating a label that can so proudly call itself, Singaporean.
Pheona, being an avid reader of fashion magazines,has always had her eye on various fashion labels that inspire her to create something of her own. She then met Jojo who has a penchant for pretty things.
Plans such as sourcing, organising, and garnering rapport with suppliers from all over South East Asia went underway since 2009. But their dreams would have needed some help if it was to be realised, they needed the expertise of Soe, Fandhi and Andrew, thus discussions went underway for them to be part of the team.
With the sharp and decisive nature of Soe and the organizational abilities of Fandhi, Chocolate Ballet soon became a reality in 2011. What they last needed was someone of artistic direction they soon found the aspiring photographer, Andrew.
What we would like to say to you is, if you put your heart to it, anything can become a reality , we strongly encourage anyone to follow your heart and chase your dreams.
